Ananthlakshmi is the great-grandchild of violin legend Prof. Parur Sri A. Sundaram Iyer and the granddaughter of violin legend Prof. Parur M.S. Anantharaman and daughter of violin maestro Kalaimamani Parur M.A. Krishnaswamy, and Vocal Vidwan Smt. Lakshmi Krishnaswamy.

Ananthlakshmi played her maiden violin program at Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam when she was only 4 years old. She has won the appreciation of several vidwans including Kunnakudi Sri. R. Vaidyanathan.

​She is currently an All India Radio graded artist.​
